The history of the ALAMBRA dairy industry begins in 1982 in the homonymous village ofNicosia district.
The company Petrou Bros, with dedication to the tradition and production of topquality products, moved forward, playing an important role in the Cypriot dairy industry, holdingtoday a leading position in the production and export of Halloumi in Cyprus.
The unique taste ofthe company’s products is exported to 40 countries around the world employing 220 staff.
A big chapter for the ALAMBRA dairy industry is the series of traditional products “The Grandmother”, which have won a place at the family table of people of Cyprus, but also abroad.
The traditional products “The Grandmother” consist of the Sheep and Goat Halloumi, the Authentic Sheep’s Yoghurt, the Traditional Anari, the traditional rice pudding and kefalotyri, the Sheep’s Ayrani and Trahana.
The company also has a wide range of products, such as Halloumi regular and Light, Anari Fresh and Dry, yogurt of various types and trimmings. In addition, in 2019 the company launched new categories such as Milk, Organic and Goat Milk, Plant Beverages and Juices under the name ALAMBRA, thus satisfying the ever-increasing needs of consumers.
The company uses all modern methods of cheese making, combined with knowledge, through tradition and long experience. It has one of the most modern factories in Cyprus of 11,000m², having the most technologically advanced equipment in Cyprus that, with respect to the environment, ensures and guarantees the quality of the products produced.
